What makes Avere different from other lip balms?
Most lip products start as the same factory base with a new label. Avere was developed from scratch over nearly two years with a U.S. cosmetic chemist and Alyssa Luciano, RN, who has treated more than 10,000 patients. It's made in the USA and sold only online and at select med spas.
Do I need to have had filler to use it?
No. It was designed for the weeks after filler, and most people keep using it every day as a clear, non-sticky gloss.
What does it feel like?
Rich but lightweight, with a glassy, clear finish. It isn't sticky and doesn't feel heavy, so you can wear a thin layer during the day or a thick layer overnight.
What's in it?
Arnica flower extract, aloe leaf extract, castor seed oil, sunflower and soybean oils, petrolatum, hydrogenated polyisobutene and candelilla wax. No parabens, no sulfates.
Is it cruelty-free?
Yes. Avere is never tested on animals.
How long does one tube last?
About 4–6 weeks with regular use. That's why most people choose the Duo: one for the bag, one for the nightstand.
Can I wear it with lipstick or gloss?
Yes. Smooth it on first as a base, or on top of color for extra shine.
After filler
When can I start using it?
As soon as you leave your appointment, unless your injector tells you otherwise. Your injector's aftercare instructions always come first.
How often should I apply it?
Every few hours for the first three days, then morning and night through day 14. After that, whenever you want soft, glossy lips.
Why the precision tip?
So you can apply it without touching fresh injection sites with your fingers. The tip also feels cool on tender lips.
Will it change my filler results?
It's a topical lip balm that works on the surface of your lips to keep them comfortable and hydrated. It doesn't change your filler.

Yes. Most people order a week before their appointment so it's waiting at home. Orders usually ship the same day from Pittsburgh.
I have sensitive lips or allergies. Can I use it?
